This class is one big exhale. In this 90-minute practice, I show you how to create supportive, restorative yoga postures in the comfort of your home. We will focus on cultivating feelings of lightness and ease by directly targeting the nervous system with a series of carefully selected postures. Reduce stress, improve sleep and rest in brilliance of your true nature.

My teaching is alignment based and anatomically informed. I seek to elevate the standard of yoga teaching through clear and direct instruction, consistent practice and appropriate modifications. My specialities include Restorative Yoga and Hatha Yoga. I incorporate the use of props to help students create positions of comfort and ease as well as targeted stretching and strengthening. As a teacher, my goal is to help students feel comfortable and safe in their bodies.
My biggest teaching influence, Judith Hanson Lasater, has taught me to teach people rather than poses while incorporating humor and clarity of speech in my instruction. I continue to work closely with Judith as a student and personal assistant, furthering my understanding of asana, pranayama, non-violent communication, and anatomy.
In 2015, I graduated from the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco, with a 200-hour teaching certificate. This program spanned the course of the year, heavily focusing on deepening home practice to serve as a foundation for teaching. During this time I returned to India to study with Geeta Iyengar. Additionally, I am a Level 2 Relax & Renew® certified teacher.
